9/10... Overshadowed by Bl-ack B-ast-ards. This album tells a story, or a couple of stories interconnected to showcase one major. By that line, sounds like To Pimp a Butterfly but it's very different. It's really fun. It's fun, interesting, upbeat, satisfying etcetera. There's wise, nonviolent songwriting and very good, raw vocals. Early 90's album, yet the production, it feels way ahead of it's time. The concept isn't amazing, but the execution, hell yes, is. Bl-ack B-st-rds is great, but have you heard this passionately?
