Not only is this probably their best album yet, but it's easily their heaviest as well. So many good songs here - Nothing More is becoming one of the best mainstream hard rock bands out there.

Tight and diverse sounding album, I'm enjoying the way instrumental and vocal parts are written a lot, the production is great. Lyrics are mostly unimpressive and edgy, that doesn't ruin the album big time for me though.

"dream with me" goes so fucking hard. really digging "valhalla" too. i admit i was skeptical going in because the first couple singles didn't blow me away, but this is a super solid album.

Still need to spin this a few more times but so far this is a much higher step up than their last release. All the singles absolutely crush it, but other stands outs include face it and valhalla.

Spirits is wonderful album by Nothing More, the album connect with alternative metal and rock djent riffs and progressive rock wirh Tool vibe this is crazy. The album talk the vocolist name Jonny Hawkins, he say "I've experienced a lot of emotions that I've never really experienced before in my life, and a lot of that is a result of moving to a different state that I've never lived in before. I'm leaving a lot of my family and friends eight hours away. It's being on a totally new terrain with my girlfriend, uncharted territory relationship wise, learning a lot about myself, so I've been experiencing a lot of emotions, positive and negative that I've been trying to dig into and navigate. I've also been doing counseling sessions with a counselor that I've trusted for the last few years who has been really insightful and sometimes a mystical mirror for me". the riffs is crazy for helloween, Nothing More know what you want with rock genre with djent. My score is 93 is crazy album make modern metal and rock with Tool elemante this amazing.

From the singles, I am cautiously optimistic r(I'll edit this when it fully releases). I rdidn't care for Stand in the Fire, but Tired of rWinning and Spirits were great. YDKWLM was also rdecently good. It also seems like it won't have rany filler (looking at you Stories), which is rnice. Definitely won't be a self titled or rFleeting, but it might just edge out Stories.rIt's finally out so gonna review it lol.rOk so I'm not done with my formal review yet, rbut I just gotta say something. Spirits is rdefinitely NOT better than Self-titled or rFleeting. It isn't even close. It barely rmanages to edge out Stories if I'm being rperfectly honest. I say this as a huge ass rNothing More fan. Some people here are rmassively overeating this. There are a ton of rannoying things. The effects are intrusive, the rlyrical work is probably the weakest on this, rJonny's vocals are drowned out sometimes, and rthe shouts of the song titles are annoying asf r(like "face it" and "call out the fake"). It ralso isn't the cohesive and fully realized reffort that Self-titled was. That said, the rspoken sections adopted from Stories is much rbetter used on here, and at the end of the day rit's still a Nothing More album. It still rsounds great, and their energy and heaviness rdefinitely hits a peak here sometimes. It is a rgreat album and has been growing nicely, but rffs let's be real.

Updating this at the release of You Don't Know What Love Means. Im still a huge fan and the rvariation in sound shows theyve still got that same amount of creativity and energy they started rout with on their first album. Absolutely love how each member brings their own unique bits to the rmusic and each song reflects that in a way. So far rthey have yet to disappoint despite being signed with a shitty label (which is saying a lot when ryou look at Better Noises rlineup).rHey here?s the: this album fuckin belts out hit after hit and doesn?t stop the momentum from start to finish, and rends with a bang. My only complaint is that sometimes you can?t hear Jonny?s vocals as well but honestly that?s rextremely minor. The entire group as a whole topped their self titled AND The Few Not Fleeting here, and is yet again ranother massive leap in the right direction
