4.5 superb | Leon11037 | August 19th 22 | Easily the most creative and enjoyable I Prevail album

1.5 very poor | CEO of Mathcore | August 22nd 22 | This band simply exists to make average metalcore bands feel better about themselves

1.0 awful | doom. | August 27th 22 | Why is this band popular? Swan Song inspired genericore. I'd rather listen to jersey shore-
core revival. Bring back AAS!

3.0 good | Timmy | January 12th 23 | Not exactly the style of metal that I enjoy too much, but this was entertaining. Pretty nice blend of ideas and styles

1.5 very poor | iamSeraph | December 17th 22 | The production screams loudness war more than your neighbors while you blast Slayer at full volume, the rap parts are laughable, the clean singer still sings with his nose held shut, the lyrics are still cringe as fuck, and the songwriting is still as uninspired as ever. This is cookie cutter popcorn Metalcore for people that have absolutely no clue about the genre. My god. That this band still exists is beyond me. Another proof that the masses are stupid and have no taste.

2.0 poor | c0nf1n3d | December 15th 22 | Chalk this one up to "most disappointing record of the year" for me. While opening track (excluding the pointless/joke? "0:00") "There's Fear in Letting Go" and follow-up "Body Bag" manage to be on-par yet not exceeding any tracks from the previous TRAUMA, it's the next track "Self-Destruction" where things begin to take a questionable turn. I Prevail does have a good track record with their experimentation, but unfortunately this song and a few others towards the end of the record don't really pay off this time. It isn't to say there aren't a few decent songs here..."Bad Things", "Fake", and "Judgment Day" all ultimately work; also unfortunately managing to be standouts when they're coasting on mediocrity. This is a record that feels like it 'needed more time in the oven'. It doesn't feel like an imitation of previous efforts, yet it also doesn't feel like advancing forward in any way possible.

3.5 great | peartnoy | August 22nd 22 | As good as one might reasonably expect from a band like I Prevail. Decently creative for
something in this genre of music and has the perfect balance of catchy and heavy, a balance
they struggled with on Trauma. Also the guitar work is a lot more involved now, with a lot
more guitar leads and harmonies throughout. All in all a very well done album, though some
songs are a bit awkward and could definitely have been trimmed.

2.5 average | LotionLord | August 21st 22 | Can't help but feel a bit blue-balled from this. The lead single Body Bag is nuts, and the only other track that goes nearly as hard is Choke.

3.0 good | terriblekonrad | August 20th 22 | This is actually pretty fun and catchy, but it shouldn't be. Long Live the King is banger.
