3.5 great | Britch2tiger | April 30th 17 | If you somehow took instrumentations of (early) Mudvayne, lyrics reminiscent of Tool, and w/ a vocal delivery like that of Korn (and latently Tool [again]), this would be the very album in a nutshell. Not a bad listen but now leaves me wondering what happened to this band...

0.0 | kmbobal | July 29th 11 | Excellent album from an almost completely unknown band. Happened to stumble upon them on
itunes one day and it was one of the greatest days of my life. Excellent blend of metal
mixed with major progressive traits. The singer is fantastic as
well as every other member. Great album all around, every song is the best song.

3.0 good | latervol | December 13th 09 | Impressive debut. Definite Tool influences though the stark contrasts found in Tool is found less in this album as it is, in general more hard driven. Yet , EIR knows when to back it down in order to layer their riffs. One finds slightly more popularized (dare I say mainstream) sound found in "Glaive" which I still believe is one of the best tracks on the album, along with its counterpart "L.E.D."
These guys need to get their name out there if a strong metal-community like Sputnik does not know them. They deserve some recognition, check them out metal community of Sputnik.
