Unfortunately, Coal Chamber's discography isn't nearly as varied as Fear Factory's, making "Giving the Devil His Due" a much less interesting compilation of odds and ends than something like "Hatefiles." "Headstones and the Walking Dead" is intriguing mainly for its backstory than any actual musical quality, and along with the "Babbit" demo and the live version of "Big Truck" (which makes this otherwise average song really pop), is probably the only worthwhile thing here. All of the alternate mixes are disposable, hardly differing from the originals beyond a voice effect here or a less-muddled riff there, and the demos are...well, demos. The bonus tracks that make up the middle of the tracklist were left off of their respective albums for a reason. Overall, not worth whatever price tag came with the CD at the time of its release, and not worth the nearly 70 minutes it takes to slog through it.
