Nicht so gut... Zeit is not bad, but sadly it's far away from being good. The previous untitled album was better in every aspect, especially since it contained numerous grandiose songs, while Zeit... doesn't have any. Most songs are quite forgettable, or quite uninspired, maybe "Zick Zack" and "Giftig" were the best ones, but they're not flawless either. Und oh mein Gott, what the fuck were those autotuned vocals? (Fortunately not much, but those were questionable moments.)

Rammstein streamlined their sound and that is so refreshing. Not one single note too much here. Love the going-psychological-deep lyrics about sick humanity things more than ever. I hope this isn't their goodbye.

For me Zeit is different from last release on many levels, first of all the Flake's keys are used more often and sounds pretty great, diverse and clever. Every song has it own identity, strange choices like autotune vocals, trumpets, oriental howling and so on, only add more curiosity to the album. Theres so much more in meaning and not obvious directions. Maybe is not the last farewell.

The eighth album by one of the the founders of the German singing offshoot of industrial and alternative metal Neue Deutsche H�rte, this time with accesible gothic metal touch again. The first I hear from Mutter, that is, after 21 years. And you know what? I quite like it, although it is little more commercially built, but very professionally made and with excellent sound.

I love the fact that this band has the capability to release beautifully constructed, emotional tracks like Zeit, then turn around and stick a song with an immature title like "Fat Tits" on the same album. Absolutely glorious.
