This Is A Really Mid Album By An Otherwise Great Artist

There are many good song and moments on this album, but they don't come with sufficient frequently to keep my attention for the whole album length. Still it can be an enjoyable listen.

At what is his Kurt Vile-est record to date, Kevin Morby strikes more of an autopilot song-writing that I'd have hoped, but still manages to find a certain melodic sweetspot of tenderness and catchiness.

Not a bad album by any means from the Texas native, but something about Kevin?s music has never really clicked with me and this again shows that. Still some solid tracks especially the fast-paced opening track and the great feature from Erin Rae, but also some huge duds like ?Disappearing? which might be one of the most awkward tracks.
