I guess it's 'Dark Souls', because I also had trouble getting through this one. But for all the wrong reasons. For all the beautiful, engrossing, layered moments, this megasong (minialbum) has a butt-tonne of tepid questionable, wannabe-inspiring moments. Bump

The Pax Cecilia are dead, long live Ode and Elegy. Imagine The Tomb Song or The Tragedy spread over a course of 55 minutes. A lot more focused on the post-rock aspect of the band and less immediate, but superbly crafted and produced. Bump
