definitely their best album in years, by far Alissa's best performance, some decently strong songwriting and Jeff Loomis finally getting a chance to let loose on his guitar a bit, makes for a solid MDM record

Fest of boredom. Maybe best Alissa's performance in Arch Enemy, but the album is the dullest
creature from them ever. It's lackluster. Guess The Halo Effect won this battle before it had
started.

Very impressed with this. Comparing this to the new Halo Effect seems to be the wrong approach here. They are fairly different.

Alissa's talent is used slightly more, But Loomis is still criminally underused. They could be so
much better if they tapped the talent of all band members. Alissa has more to give and Loomis even
more. The new record is better than the previous, but it gets old pretty quick.
