3.5 great | gooseisloose | February 5th 22 | For everything it might not do better or differently than its predecessor(s) regarding instrumentation and composition, Havasu, at the very least, shows the continued evolution of Bazan as a lyricist and provides Pedro The Lion's most humorous moment in the form a Beverly Hills Cop reference on "First Drum Set".

2.5 average | woxdy | January 31st 22 | Boring album. Old Wisdom, is probably the only worthwhile track here.

2.5 average | ajcollins15 | January 25th 22 | A bit of a rebound for the Seattle slowcore band, but it doesn?t bring anything new to the already boring genre. There are some good ideas here and there on the record and the intro track brings a interesting amount of Talk Talk influence. But this album gets boring really fast once you dive deeper into it.
