Not as well orchestrated as Red's Of Beauty and Rage album, but at least this album roughly had a 6-year start before that album. Vocals remind me of a pre-2000's Chino (Deftones) and instrumentation that's a mix of (early) 10 Years and (early) Chevelle. Pretty decent for nu-metal. For anyone interested in more albums of this genre, I recommend Mire (CAN) and their album Inward/Outward.

Despite the high-pitched and annoying shrieks from David Scotney on several tracks, Red Right Return is a worthy purchase.

Decided to give this a listen after falling in love with lead single "Eyesore," and I'm pleased to say that Red Right Return met my expectations. Janus are indeed catchy like mainstream giants Creed and Nickelback, however what gives them an edge over either band is their technicality, which sees its height in "Eyesore" and "Skin Deep." Overall, Red Right Return has a well-deserved upper hand against any mainstream brethren it may have. Favorite tracks: "Maybe Its You," "Eyesore," and "100 Years."
