This is brilliant. A perfect post-metal album. Any fan of Agalloch will get blown away. An amazing, balanced mixture of post-metal, folk, doom metal. I can't really think of a better post metal album than Agalloch's legendary Ashes Against the Grain, but this might be it. I got completely blown away. Great sound, perfect production and mixing. I love, that all instruments are distinct and balanced. It's only first half ov January ov 2022 and already such a treat. It's gonna be an amazing year! Gotta come back in some time and see if it's a 5.0 contender.

ill be the voice of dissent here - I found that this did not coalesce into anything
interesting for a significant amount of its runtime, and the drums were particularly
noticeable. they sounded programmed to me but apparently they have a drummer

DIM offers everything I carve for: the riffs, the atmosphere, the emotional tone; moreover it combines genres like doom metal, shoegaze, black metal and post-metal. All the four lenghty songs are exciting and have a dream-like flow, not to mention the album has a fascinatingly clean and dynamic production.
