there is nothing ultra-modern in this case, at least it sounds confident and this record gives optimism. the ballads could have been better.

Lol why is Avril Lavigne being praised so much for doing the same things that other aging pop-punk artists have been criticized for? Sure, there's some guilty pleasures, but the songwriting is cringey and disingenuous as hell, the features are horrible and unnecessary, and it just feels like she's trying WAY too hard. I guess this is better than her last two albums, but that is a hilariously low bar to clear.

What actually happens. World is coming down, Avril woke up once and she's 14teen again and everything is pretty, sweet and candy, but nope it isn't! Sounds like every pop rock album, maybe good or bad think. It's mediocre.
