I wouldn't call it a complete failure, i've given it a good solid complete playthrough and i liked it a bit, there are definatly some forgettable songs but while i'm driving i'm down for some Wormwood. Decent, not great they've done better but Marduk never has jumped out at me.

en-route their downward spiral,marduk come up with another blatant release named Wormwood.The screeches seem artificial,their typical and ever-so-famous Marduk aggression is rarely felt and the album seems like a british ballad at one point of time.. easily a 2.5/5 for me.only tracks reminiscent of the old marduk are tracks 4 (Unclosing the curse) and 8 (whorecrown). rest is epic fail.
