This is how a classic album should be made. Technically efficient, InMe are very much a machine, an entity unaffected by the laws that bind us mortal women and men. They are not chained down by such rules as other bands like Megadeth and Anthrax, and are able to do what they want with their music. And the result of this spontaneous creation was Herald Moth, a completely over the top, but thoroughly enjoyably fresh release, that breathed fresh air into the stagnant machine that had previously released mediocre material such as ***ing White Butterfly and Daydream Anonymous.
On the brink of collapse, the band put out this, a collection of solid tunes full of great tapping leads that make for a ***ing interesting listen, sure enough. This is about as metal as an album can get, full of solos left right and center stage, making it a guitarists wet dream. Never topped before, or after, Herald Moth is a classic album. The drumming is perfect throughout this album, being lightning fast in places and, usually, plodding along, keeping a perfect beat. This album has some of the most perfect songs known to mankind, most notably The Art Of Moderation, a song that never takes itself too seriously and comes off as perfect.
The vocal work is Dave at his absolute ***ing peak. Seriously, where in metal or radio rock is there a vocalist with more talent than this guy. There can not be more than two singers out there that possess a shred of the quality that this man has. This guy is a ***ing legend within the scene, but one who unfortunately never found any success,as the band has never really been the forerunner of the radio metal genre, unfortunately. this is an amazing, classic, perfect, great, brilliant, ***ing epic album that everyone should ***ing listen to, instead of bands like Death and Black Sabbath that do not possess a half of the talent
