Few of the songs present in Never Let Me Go are worth skipping. The band's return is triumphant and characterized by a sonic flourish that was not present on any previous album. It was certainly worth the wait of almost 9 years.

Placebo achieve a nearly Placebo effect on their newest. They do nothing much, nothing new, but manage to rock it like they're 20.

Man, maybe I'm weird or I've lost my mind, not in the same way as the band ;P, but Never Let Me
Go sounds to me different than anything else before I've heard from Placebo, and I like it more
than past records. I guess it's right time, space and place for me and the band. Finally, I come
out clean by giving 4/5 to Placebo record.

Haven't listened to Placebo since Sleeping with Ghosts - brings back memories of the late 90s/early noughties. Molko and co can still produce.
