Lightning Bolt put out another headache-enducing, ear-shattering album. But it hurts so good. They manage to stay fresh in a genre where slipping into monotony can be easy. With frantic drumming, pounding bass guitar layers and psychotic, incomprehensible vocals they prove that they can keep things exciting even after four years outside of the studio, basement, cave... or where ever they decide to record.

good thing tho. this is probably the best thing they've done honestly. perfectly balances the atmospheric weird stuff with the insanity. also their noisiest.
