One of the most important albums of all time. Extremely underrated, it is indeed a masterpiece, one of those albums that really moved me, like rarely an album does. "Millions" is surely the band's best album yet and one of the very best post rock albums ever.

incredible how weird, yet easy to listen to this album is. playful and extremely experimental, yet not in-your-face, but subdued, and tasteful. a masterpiece indeed.

It's jazz-fusion... It's post-rock... It's electronica... It's Tortoise, combining all of the mentioned into one of the most touching instrumental albums ever made, from the long multi-part subtle suite of "Djed" to the monumental riff of "Glass Museum" to the beautiful soloing in the middle of "The Taut and Tame"'s percussion-heavy bookends.
