Jon Hopkins takes a small detour from his genre definition microhouse sound to make a full-blown new age ambient piece. Although this album is really meant more like a lens for meditation than for a listening experience on its own, there are some good ideas on this album. The nature recording laced throughout add a little bit of needed richness and diversity. But still, this album is much too long for what it is. This could have easily been a 30 to 40-minute album.

Lit and incense, lay/sit down and enjoy these frequencies. Jon Hopkins' latest offering is a very lovely, slow meditating album, building from excellent ethereal drones, vocals, pianos and samples. The title says it all. The only weaker part is the talk in "Sit Around The Fire", but that's just nitpicking from my side.

If you don't listen with headphones and a head full of your favorite psychedelic, you aren't really hearing the album for it's intended purpose. It's a wonderful ambient album for creating warm, welcoming mood, and it accompanies inner exploration perfectly. If you want it for background music, that's great too. Beautiful ambient record.

A chill - too chill? - new agey ambient record that doesn't stray much from "pretty'n'chill electronic background" but hey it's really lovely and it's got some birds singing how cute is that.
