Queen’ they play to you in the care home….this album is what they play you in the nursing home. Some palliative

ok, so I know this band was big, and I was born in the 70's - so I suppose it's unusual I couldn't name any of their hits (though I probably have heard most of them at some point or another)... with not much of an oldschool reference point - this stuff is actually pretty chill... makes a feather seems like it weighs like a car in comparison... but like I said, it's chill and it's well-performed - her voice sounds good - all things considered (or just sounds good period, is more accurate)... total Christxmas vibe crossed with a bit of Karen Carpenter vibe? idk, but I'm a relatively generous rater here - I'll give it a 4 'for what it is'... n yea, first album since '81! not my normal thing by far, but impressive effort here.

This is surprisingly good for a band which just had half a lifetime of a break. Of course it does not live up to the bands highlights, but parts of the album come quite close.

I just did a slew of ABBA ratings - this one ranks just below their classic albums. Very lively and the singing is still strong. Nostalgic but with a bit of a modern edge.

My mother is 53 and she was listening to them in her younger age. I like their hits, not every, but still this was pleasant throwback to their sound. I recognize them more, because in Europe they were ultra popular these days.
