Incredibly well-made release by the Finnish veterans. Only some minor changes (more synths, some doom or even grind and occasionally newer approach in vocals) were introduced to their original filthy black-death formula, and as a result, Worship the Eternal Darkness became the most mature Archgoat album to date. Turning to a more atmospheric approach had a great impact on the classic Archgoat formula: the album sounds brutal, menacing and evil. In Worship the Eternal Darkness the band showed clear signs of improvement and creativity in probably in 2021's best (old-school) black metal record. They aged just like fine wine.
