The synths were pretty much the best here, since the metal part was pretty much ruined with that lame and blunt (fuzzy) distortion... not punchy at all...

I would like this more if half of the album wasn't synth instrumentals. The death metal first half is so damn good but brought down when it turns into a synth album. Essentially feels like an uncompleted album.
