I feel like a lot of people are about to take this album way too seriously. Its over the top Mosh music and it does it really well for what it is.

Some fun to be had here, but also a lot of shit. Alex is both the main draw for this band and
their biggest weakness with a wildly uneven vocal approach that ranges from fantastic to
cringeworthy. Despite being quite generic, the more straightforward deathcore tracks like
Demolisher are where this band feels the most natural, while the nu-metal influences tend to
derail pretty much every track they show up in.
I thought I would hate this way more than I do, but overall I still think these guys are very
mediocre, and their genre blend attempts are almost always disastrous.
EDIT: Disregard my previous statement, upon a few repeat listens it has become clear that I mostly
hate this.

Deathcore Slipknot is about right for this record. Also got some deathcore Bloodywood vibes at times which I found pretty amusing.

This has a few moments that are actually passable when Alex isn't doing some cringe shit on vocals. I appreciate the effort to evolve and expand his repertoire, but it just doesn't work for me. Hopefully on the next release he sticks with what he does best and cuts out all the extra nonsense.

Decent slipknot worship with deathcore elements. It can be fun in small doses and in the right
moment but overall the band has increasingly become less heavy and more generic. The cover is
abyssmal...please ditch the masks too!

I personally don't get the low ratings this is receiving. While I do agree the vocals (especially
the cleans) are cringey at times and a minority of songs on here are forgettable, instrumentation-
wise this album is top notch. Especially the drumming is some of the best and tasty work I've
heard in heavy music over the last few years. Riffs are memorable and 3/4 of the time Alex's
vocals just straight up crush. I get why people don't like the band, but if you just look at what
it is - a stupid heavy record with heaps of aggression, top-notch instrumentation & production - a
lot of fun is to be had with this album.

I think subjectively this is a really poor release. Besides the original single punisher, there aren?t many redeeming qualities here. Good on them for trying something different but unfortunately at this stage I feel like the vocalist would be better suited in another deathcore band. If you listen to say Shadow Of Intent or even Lorna Shore latest few releases you couldn?t realistically give this anymore than an average at best rating. Some of the cringeworthy vocal passages bring it down to poor level for me. Disappointed I preordered the vinyl for this as I?ll never listen to it.
