1.5 very poor | Your #1 Most Loved Semiaquatic, Egg-Laying Mammal | October 2nd 21 | What a boring, lifeless album. Every time they start to do something remotely interesting, they
resort back to the same, bland, Sirius XM bullshit they've been doing for the last few years. I
would say I'm disappointed but I think even they knew this album was gonna suck; can't remember
the last time a band released only one song prior to an album's release.

2.5 average | hangth3dj | November 12th 21 | Some really cringey bits, some really catchy bits...and a whole truckload of middling, derivative, average hard rock bits.

2.0 poor | IsaacBG | October 27th 21 | I think they get a lot of unnecessary hate, and if I had to guess I think AA is happy with this album overall. This album is a cool direction, but it just doesn't have the highs/excitement I got from "alone in a room", "where did it go", really a lot of the self-titled. It feels like they understand the pattern but don't have the emotion thus far. Even the track "Find Myself" talks about this plight they have. rI sincerely hope they succeed

1.5 very poor | lucahambleton | October 11th 21 | A poorly creative album from a band that has desperately needed something new to their sound since singer Danny Worsnop returned. Boring, repetitive, and poppy. Perhaps a 1.5 is generous for an album that I didn't even know was coming out.

2.5 average | ajcollins15 | October 7th 21 | I remember in high school my senior quote came from one of their songs and although I might cringe at the idea today there is still a lot of power that I resonate with a quote. However, for a band to be one of the trancecore bands of the late 2000s and early 2010s they have come a long way since then, and to be honest this album is a step in the right direction. In no way is this a great or even good album, but for a band who has had more turnovers in the last few years to come out with this is great. The band might never be as good as they were when I was in high school, but at least they are trying to bring some good vibes to their name.

4.0 excellent | Halez | October 6th 21 | this might actually be in contention for my favorite album from this band. nice melodies, very A7X-inspired, solid ballads, and just one blemish - "Fame" is incredibly mediocre.

2.0 poor | AmbushReality | October 5th 21 | After the last few releases, its a foregone conclusion that AA will never again release the sleazy fun metalcore that caused their explosion in the early 2010's. Many bands have been able to make the transition out of that formula and into something bigger and better, whilst keeping the music interesting and genuine. AA has been trying this of late, but severely lacked the last two key ingredients. Though their singles have peaked higher and higher on the active rock charts (no doubt their goal all along), the albums as a whole have been lifeless and boring. This album is a step above the previous two, but ultimately still extremely watered down. There appears to be a heightened passion here, as "Alone Again" is actually a pretty fun Avenged Sevenfold rip, and there's actually a couple decent power ballads (something I haven't been able to say for any rock bands lately), but in the end this isn't going to win over anyone outside the red state rock radio demographic.

3.0 good | peartnoy | October 4th 21 | Alone Again is a pretty decent starter to the
album. Overall it's a step up from the last album
for sure but it's mostly just a softer version of
Hail to The King era Avenged Sevenfold. It's
enjoyable enough.

2.5 average | Rammbrecher | October 3rd 21 | Right off the bat, I'll admit that I'm not a fan of Danny Worsnop's vocals or this subgenre of rock in general, but a few potent lyrics and some strong musicianship barely keep this thing from hitting the bargain bin. It is toothless aggressive music that takes little to no risk; its attempts to bring back the aesthetic of 80s glam rock/metal would be more appreciated if SOMETHING was done to spice up the old recipe, but on the whole, it's pretty stale.
