One time I listened to nothing but this album for 42 days. I was locked in a rubber room, and the only thing I was allowed to eat was the CD liner notes. They didn't taste very good Anyway, as for this album: It's genius! Without this album, the mathematics industry wouldn't exist. And since I spend every night in a dark dungeon doing math problems for fun, I never talk to the outside world. Thus I have successfully managed to keep myself from drinking Kool Aid thanks to this album. Kool Aid saves lives. Lucky I'm not one of them! 10/10

Many claim that Infinity is a more 'song-oriented' record than its predecessor, Ocean Machine. However, while I do agree that the album's tracks work well separately, calling Infinity 'song-oriented' undermines its cohesiveness as a record. Though it jumps between moods and styles frequently, no track feels out of place or random. This is partly due to the incredibly good mix, which balances the sometimes near-suffocating layers of music perfectly. It's also due to the high quality of songwriting-- there's no filler here. Infinity is a challenging listen, but with repeated plays the genius behind it emerges. A truly exceptional record.

A cool an certainly interesting little project, merging metal and just about everything else Devin could throw in the mix. Definitely poppy to the max, the album has its share of fun moments and excels when it's at its catchiest. For me, though, it's just a little light.

Created in the wake of exiting a mental-health institution (where Townsend was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder), Infinity is everything it should be. Majestically melding the face-melting demon that is City and it's diametric opposite Ocean Machine: Biomech, Infinity finds a focus and direction when Devin was at a time I belive most musicians would've fallen flat on their faces. Honestly my words cannot do this album justice, PLEASE!!!! Listen to this album as soon as you can ; I promise you will not be disappointed. 4.4/5
