Its like Coheed & Cambria but its simultaneously more and less gay than Coheed.

It's really amazing how this band can keep coming up with such catchy and unique riffs. This album and Dreamhouse are very close in comparison, which is a good thing, but I do think that Empire Theory is a little more fresh and new. However, the one thing that pleasantly surprises me is how well the album, for a debut at least, is mixed and produced. These guys definitely know what they're doing.

Honestly one of the best pieces of music I have ever experienced in my life. Every song is an incredible work of art with technical, emotional, and lyrical depth, while still managing to be catchy, melodic, and just generally satisfying. The album is a cohesive, consistent masterpiece start to finish with no notable weak points imo.

Such a good album. For me it's like a less weird Mars Volta  rBut certainly the band have some music. At the drive in - Circa survive style. Very catchy and certainly better than The fall of Troy last album!
