I really like her approach and how she tried to modernize or add a new spin to rnb with really impressive production, but by the time you get to the 2nd half of the album, it becomes very samey and boring

At its absolute best this album showcases Tinashe (and her crew of authors) as a skilled song-writer, but at worst is a tepid display of trite tropes unremarkable even by the current RnB standards. Beside that, her voice is so unexciting, it hurts.

Although the fifth full-length album from Tinashe is a bit blotted in nature and sonically all-over-the-place, it is a great showing of the current RnB landscape. If you want to hear every single sound and style seen right now in the RnB scene then this album is for you and Tinashe executes most of this album extremely well.
