Kennys best prod album since 777, Vince slid as usual and got real personal/soulful with it. AYWT? and Shining are highlights to me but still consistent all around with lowkey/chill lil bangers. This comment section trippin though! Hope it ages better for them

While I like this to an extent, it honestly blows my mind how a 22 minute album manages to be so forgettable and even feel like it drags. Didn't really think it was that capable but this is an obvious example. Not terrible, just...ok and that's really about it entirely. Who's idea was it though to use interludes in an album this short? That's a really stupid decision

I like how Vince seems to make accessible music that needs to grow on you. I was lukewarm to this and FM! on first listens, but the quality sinks in as I internalize the perspectives. Kenny provides a space that is centered, but wandering. Vince uses this backdrop to emphasize a comfortable focus with his identity, but with a soul tinged with a type of darkness that keeps one from total peace; The subtlety of this dynamic may not be for everyone, but it's there for people open to it. Worth revisiting.

Love the production. Listen with headphones. I missed a lot of detail listening to this
in the car. My first listen I was confused, this is not filled with bangers. This is not
the darker version of FM. This one is about Vince and the depth you're
looking for is in the lyrics. Vince has another LP in the works.

The California-based rapper, after a long wait, has finally released his 4th album and in a lot of ways, it seems like a step down towards a stronger future. On the intro ?Are You With That?? you are shown the exact sound you will be presented on this short 22-minute album. Minimal synth backgrounds, heavy trap beats, and a relatively ?easy? (if not at points lazy) flow. There are some solid tracks on here, but as a whole, this album leaves me with my head-scratching. Not really sure what Vince wanted from this project, however, there is something here that I hope he builds on into the future and creates a nearly minimal rap album.

a perfectly serviceable, fine album with almost no sense of dynamics and little replay value. "Sundown Town" is his best tune since Big Fish Theory. rest is the definition of decent.

I would give this a 3.2 at max. This is his least 'good' album but Kennys production at times is damn fine. Might need more spins but I dont see this getting a higher ranking for me.
