Peak heavy psych prog songcraft. Like Crack the Skye left on the hot plate too long so you smoked the smoldering resin cut with psilocybin in some dark jungle brush. In that mad haze you?re indoctrinated by an indigenous tribe where you live out your days, unaware of the animal you used to be.

Cool weird shit. Indeed, it's not everyday an album fuses sludge's heaviness with zeuhl & prog complexity and textures. This mishmash is cool, indeed, but the album mostly works because these different influences are carefully dosed, each track showcasing different moments of calm and fury that all manage to convey the appropriate mood.

If you dig the murkiest of murky Magma textures, combined with prog&jazz free writing like KC, all complemented with some sick sludge riffing/mix and finished with the most stellar drumming...oh and almost forgot, Brazilian Tropicalia movement vibe sprinkled all around, then this may be what you're looking for in a long time.
