i was talking to a girl who said she liked bo burnham and reccomended this to me. i couldnt even fake liking this to get laid i was just straight up with her and told her its hipster garbage for white millenials with surface level observations on society and no actual depth. i didnt get laid but i also didnt drop my standards and i didnt sacrifice my integrity for a woman. biggle boys on top. this is based and a fact.

@ Alec L. Critten.. how was the special hard to watch? It was honestly the most poignant yet hilarious piece of comedy I've seen in years.

Do comedy albums qualify as AOTY contenders? Because with this release, they sure do now. Burnham has always been a good writer, but this album finds him honing his craft even further. You?ll laugh and you?ll cry with this one.

Bo Burnham is one of the most brilliant comedians of this Earth. I also don't find him funny. That contradiction makes it so I agree with everyone saying this is a masterpiece, but I didn't enjoy it.

songs are middling-- they tell a very specific narrative, and divorced from the visuals and interludes of the special, the album is a tad underwhelming. but in the context of the special this is a brilliantly crafted work of art with lots of love and care. also this sounds better than all of his other music combined
