Listened out of morbid curiosity and yeah, it's terrible, but hardly the worst thing ever.

Being boring and uninspired is one thing, but man this album has absolutely nothing interesting going on. It somehow manages to sound generic as all hell, while also being absolutely barren in terms of musical chops. At least it's not a pain inducing listening experience, so guess it has that going for it?

Peculiar situation this is, where I have to defend a quality of an album I hate, but I am disappointed with your collective hate for this. I found the album to be mostly inoffensive bore. A deadening bore that is, but still nothing extraordinarily awful. Album's concept is vaguely defined and not followed through at all, her lyrics display a genuine sentiment, but are mostly very rough, her voice is grating, but not so much that I cannot listen further. Yeah, I was just bored. That's it.

[POP] I had to hear it to believe it. Lazy & formulaic lyrics? Yep. Instrumentals that sound too similar in each track? Uh huh. Bad singing? More like some of the most grating I've heard, maybe within top 10. This in my ears is if the 'Dance Monkey' track was ballooned into an entire album. I'd tie this w/ Hello Kitty Suicide Club levels of awful.

It's bad because it's unbelievably boring and generic. And because the only positive thing I can say about it is that it's inoffensive and that I've heard worse. But that's a lot of pop music tbf. And I don't find her voice irritating like others, so there's that.
