Reflecting back to your inspirations in anything that you do, whether it'd be film, music or any kind of art, it's always the most respectful to pay tribute too in any way you feel necessary. Four Year Strong keeps their inspirations in mind by releasing Explains It All, a cover album full of songs they made them want to make music. This isn't terrible, in fact some of these covers are done extremely well, but where is that Four Year Strong flavor that makes them so signature? These are bare boned, stripped down covers that get the job done, but do nothing to help the band out or allow them to be too noticed by younger fans who don't recognize these radio friendly tracks.
