If I took every band from Sumerian and mixed them into a blender, it would sound exactly like this
album. Just a hodgepodge of bland djent/deathcore/metalcore ideas executed plainly. Rather listen
to the new ERRA record.

Andys vocals are awesome and the combination of djenty song structures and rhythms with deathcore tropes and metalcore choruses, while nothing new, is done in a tasteful way that does not try to be more than it is. Most importantly the often phrygian vocal harmonies are done very well in the choruses, unlike most bands that try to do them, usually sounding bland. Overall im very happy with this offering, but i hope to see more experimentation in the future, now that Andy and Nik have found their sound.

Derivative of all of their contemporaries with no semblance of originality in sight

Some fun stuff in here if not the most original thing. Production definitely doesn't help either.
