The Fisherman Song (We all need love) is my favourite Mae song to date. That song alone gives this the rating it has.

The (M)orning EP represents some of the best material Mae has come up with in a long time. It represents a newly inspired Mae, one not bogged down by the expectations of a big music label whose biggest concern is the bottom line. It represents a band once again driven by the passion for creation of art, and once again living up to its full potential (and name).
To make it clear: Mae's new EP (which runs for nearly 40 minutes) represents a band out to raise the already blisteringly high bar it has set for itself. Excellent release; can't wait for more!

This is where it's at in regards to the seasons EPs. They don't overdo the instrumentals, the instrumental tracks that are here are really nice and not at all boring, and it really does give you a feeling for the freshness and beauty of the morning.

These guys have brought back the sound that I missed and that was clearly present on Destination: Beautiful and The Everglow. After listening to this EP I think it's safe to say that Mae is back on the game.

i love this ep and i love this band.
its incredible how they go their own way, stay theirselves, but still develop their sound further and further...
so much wonderful songs on this EP...can't get enough.
once the new EP's will be out I will cry some yells of delight =)
