Mattie has got to be one of my favorite vocalists. On album and live. Saul of Tarsus is a beast by itself....For Today my favorite band.

generic but fun. this has worn off on me a bit but i still spin a few tracks from it every now and then. some of breakdown leads are fucking awful though.

This album has been playing on my iPod for a good minute.
Honestly the progression from their first album to "portraits" is amazing. Not only has the musicianship improved remarkably the vocals are a lot better, heavier, and range has improved as well. The lyrics are very well thought out and meaningful as you can tell they play with such passion. Also the recording quality has improved. All together a solid sophomore release from the Christian Metal-core band For Today. I can't wait for there third!
