3.5 great | zaruyache | August 3rd 21 | atmospheric black metal with the goofy keyboards from The Final Countdown. It's an odd mismatch of styles, but its over-the-top camp somehow works because of course it does--this is black metal.

4.0 excellent | Chino smoking it up! | January 18th 21 | had this on repeat until they took it out from my music app. Here's the bandcamp - https://ancientmastery.bandcamp.com/album/chapter-one-across-the-mountains-of-the-dr-mmarskol. The synths are cheesy af, but also give this sense of retro charm to the songs, that when they riff, they go pretty damn hard. Sweet debut release.
