I have tried all day long to just figure out how I feel about not only this band, but this album. Since the album has been playing in my truck all day, I've had the pleasure of hearing it over and over again. At first listen, I was shocked at how much I actually enjoyed the maniacal mess I call 'Das Monster', but after hearing it again and again, my opinion has changed drastically. Once you hear all the songs back to back, you notice how much recycling this band does with their ideas. Each song features breakdowns, pig squeals and unique synth which doesn't always have to be a bad thing, but with only a few songs on here listen worthy the album falls flat on it's ideas. It does a good job at trying to be different, but with the limited span of ideas on this album, it falls into the pile where most deathcore bands fall.
