| 3.0 good | IAmKickass | January 26th 11 | 'Hot N Heavy' was one of the only Drop Dead, Gorgeous albums I found myself really getting into. It blends the bands older and newer sounds together, and it really works as a "band finding their true sound" album, but at the same time I found myself getting bored of the album quickly and really seeming to forget about it.

| 2.5 average | codyskidmore | January 24th 10 | Drop Dead, Gorgeous have found a comfortable middle-ground from their first two albums, which is post-hardcore with a slight southern edge. There are bright spots in this album, like "Two Birds, One Stone", and "Dirtier Than You Want to Know", but in the end the album runs its course and not much is remembered.
