Repeated listens are rewarding. Of course, I want more prevalent blips and Nathan feels lazy in
his writing, but he doesn't seem to hide it and the delivery makes up for it anyway. Just feels
good to feel this anxious and alive again.

Eleven years for only two new HORSE songs and a NIN cover almost feels unfair, but we'll take what we get. As expected, the new songs fuck hard and feel like a mix of Desperate Living and The Mechanical Hand, and I really hope we get a full length out of them in this style. The Nine Inch Nails cover is solid and especially funny during the piano refrain with the goofy synth tones. H THE FUCKING B.

definitely some fun horse tracks. Lots of emotion and moodiness. Wish it had more metalcore silly moments or hooks, but it's still HORSE and still pretty good! Think Desperate Living but a little more somber and nihilistic. I could lose the NiN cover though.
