I am a huge Dave Matthews head, I have way too many songs on my iTunes by him or the band, and I've been to over 15 shows. This band is so talented that unless you already think that, it may be impossible for me to change your mind through one review. This album is not their best album, but it is the best album since the last 3 official studio albums they have released. This album ALMOST brings back the old days of Crash and Before These Crowded Streets. Grux is an ode to LeRoi, the fallen brother of DMB. The album starts with him and ends with him. As a whole, this album is pretty solid. I can say as a huge Dave Matthews fan that I despise the song You and Me with a passion. In my opinion it's one of the worst songs ever written by this band, the lyrics are god awful that music sucks. Fortunately thats the only problem I have with this album. Other songs are pretty good compared to others but for the most part, this studio album was a success, especially compared to the last three that were released. Honestly, if you don't listen to Dave, start with the Under the Table and Dreaming, or Remember Two Things, and work your way up. Any of the Live Tax Volumes are a good way to start too.
