A pleasant surprise, I'd say. On the slower side of the genre, and the modern edge is still in Bathuska's sound since their member-split - and personally I enjoyed it. Hospodi was more exciting in my opinion, even though I can't say it was boring or anything, especially because the vocals sound pretty interesting all the way through due to the different styles, but the overall atmopshere was great also.

Hospodi saw Bart trying REALLY hard to be Batushka. Now he's gotten that down, but the riffs and memorability aren't there. I mean Irmos I was memorable in that it followed a LOT of the same beats that Yekteniya I did. In and of itself, Raskol isn't *bad* but if I wanted to listen to Litourgiya again I'd just do that.

Bart finally perfects the process of scummily emulating a much more interesting composer. It's definitely fine when you don't squint too hard, but it still doesn't have the texture that that initial release had.
