Wonderfully pared-back, quirky, and just plain odd synthpop from Japan. Any album starting with the repeated query of 'where's my toilet paper' is the perfect way to sum up this year for me (we did eventually get toilet paper but it was touch and go for a while, let me tell you). On a more serious note, SNOOZE is fucking incredible. Do yourself a favour and check that out.
