My oh my how this sucked. The whole «making bad metal on purpose» thing should be punishable by public flogging. Back in the days it was cool, because the bands did not know how to make it any better. Today it is just as snooty as abstract art. This album somehow made me think of the installations by Yoko Ono! It was that annoying!

I don't know if this is serious or Fenriz making fun of everyone, but there are definitely a few good ideas here and riffs that some modern stoner bands would kill for.

It was super fun album, and surprisingly: not even a single black metal song at sight! Death rock, heavy metal, punk and even an indie folk song in the end... just woah. The Pentagram/Sabbath worship songs were clearly my favourites, but generally it was a very pleasant old-school mix of various styles and influences presented by Fenriz.
