I do not get the hate for this one at all, yes it has a more mainstream rock formula to it but that is not a bad thing, and this is no where near as mediocre as the new wage war (in fact this album is much heavier then that one). It does what it had set out to do and very well succeeds in that

Straight up dissapointing, it would be a 2.5-3 if this wasnt the band that had released Dark Skies, arguably one of the best metalcore albums ever, and certainly top 5 in the decade. This album is just pure meh, nothing felt like it had impact and every song managed to feel like it was twice as long as it was, and not in a good way.

Trying to say the 4 singles is like a Deathgrip or Slave To Nothing pt. 2 just shows you
don't listen to FFAK and just mindlessly bash them. But yes, it definitely is more like Dark
Skies pt. 2 I'll give you that.
Then we have Protomorph here giving it a 5.0 and calling people "idiots" for saying they're
going softer even though the 4 singles so far basically is just the same riff same chorus
repeated 3-4 times then abruptly ends and it's pretty clear they are going in a mainstream
direction, like the band doesn't hide it either. They literally ask their fans on instagram
to vote their songs to play on local radio rock stations so I don't know why he's in denial
lmao.
I actually like FFAK but even a majority of people on R/Metalcore are pretty disappointed
with the 4 singles so far me included.
EDIT: alright i just listened to that album and protomorph is smoking crack this album was
not that good. not a 5.0 rating at all. I was disappointed with Vendetta and Prophet.
changing rating from 3.0 to 2.5
EDIT 2: LOL protomorph being an echo chamber and doesn't see his own elitism showing. not suprised tbh

Album is phenomenal. Prophet is one if their best tracks they have ever written. Stockholm is pulverizing. Do not

they went soft. Every song is its own unique flavor.
