An album that is very much all vibes and to a lesser extent a few curious sonic ideas. I found the album to be so oddly difficult to love. After a few attempts I believe I can narrow the reason down to the song-writing. It is so indistinct and vapid, yet carefully placed within the gloomy, gently psychedelic veneer, where its vacant personality can evade scrutiny. Clever play at Jaye Jayle's part, although I fear it was not intentional.
