| 3.3 great | Erwann S. EMERITUS | September 17th 20 | Ok there's so much happening here I just puked a rainbow. The core of the sound is J-Pop, the vocals being accentuated by really really good autotune. On top of that, electronic touches sometimes make this sound like the musical embodiment of the Rainbow Road. What makes this project very distinctive is the way digital hardcore pulls its way through loudass synths and bombastic drums to surpass mere weebfanmuzak status. It's good, weird stuff although it does get tiring on some songs that overstay their welcome. What you must remember: this is Rainbow Road: The Album.

| 3.0 good | ajcollins15 | June 29th 20 | Dai Dai Dai is a two (ish) Japanese based noise-pop band that has finally released their debut album after two EP?s and several singles. What you should expect with this album is, well a lot. Right from the intro track you are shown the fast world of breakcore and noise pop. Loud synth leads, explosive drums, auto-tuned vocals, all while everything seems to be flying by you. Every track here presents some great ideas, but several times that idea completely falls flat because of a lack of direction or lack of understanding. This isn?t a bad album, especially if you want a decent introduction to the world of breakcore and noise pop, but in comparison to the likes of melt-banana and others, these flounder in comparison.
