As Cities Burn end their road of musical progression with a mindnumbingly good indie rock record. Since they came out with their Christian metalcore debut they have become a beacon of light in a scene of hypocratic faggotry. Though this isn't life changing, like their amazing sophmore record Come Now Sleep but after having almost every song off this jammed in my head at one point (yes even Capo) I came to realize that this is pretty incredible. I still don't understand why they didn't put Gates on the record but still, this is one of the best records of the year.

While I enjoy the real bassy tone these guys implement. There's not much here for me to enjoy. Some pretty good instrumentals. Most of the songs are so dull. A couple enjoyable tunes.Not for me I guess

So mellow yet so emotional and upfront. Why can't more bands do what these guys are doing? Is it because the little scene girls won't come to their shows anymore?

This album encompasses what true unadulterated raw emotion is. The lead singer let's you know what he's feeling through his voice at all time, whether it be sorrow or happiness. Not to mention the guitarists play some incredibly creative lines and riffs, along with a drummer who throws in unique fills every thirty seconds. Best album of 2009 so far.

This is As Cities Burn's most accessible album, with some very much improved musicianship from all four band members. Every song has something different to offer, and it keeps you hooked for days.
On another note, Lady Blue blew my mind away!

Through the use of ambience and passionate lyrics As Cities Burn unveil their newest incarnation, a very groove-filled rock album. ACB has always been my favorite band (ever since their 2002 EP) and this is my personal favorite album. Nothing generic about this at all.

If they are broken up at least they did it with one last good album. An interesting beginning to a post-hardcore band and an extremely interesting ending for this wonderful band. If they haven't broken up and it's just rumors then wonderful.

Every time I pop in an As Cities Burn CD, it gets better with each listen. Probably the best record to come out through Tooth and Nail ever.

Doesn't have the nostalgic effect of Son, I Loved You at Your Darkest, or really the lyrical depth of Come Now Sleep, but this is some really good music and the lyrics are by no means dull.
