The album is less varied than the previous effort, but pulls off certain quirks better than "The Concealers" did. Doesn't quite live up, but still isn't to be overlooked.

Pure metal is what these guys put out; crushing and fast, Daath never gives the listener a chance to breath, except for a few soft parts (those are only like 5 seconds long though). However, don't think this to be some mindless headbanger's album as there are a ton of grooves to nod your head at plus lyrics that truly make you think. My only issue with this album is that there is still too much potential that has not been reached. The two guitarists in this band are ridiculous, but they do not fully show off their skills which I know they possess.
