If I had a younger brother, and I wanted him to get into rock, I would give him this album. This is the perfect album to get someone into rock.

Even though this was hilariously cheesy, and the lyrical delivery was quite terrible (it's obvious the vocalist isn't good in the lyric department), the musicianship was actually quite good. The drums were the major standout, they sounded really crisp and like a boulder with each hit, and not to mention, the guitar riffs were quite awesome as well. Crossfade isn't a band that you could all "influential" or "innovative" per say, but this album is fairly decent and contains some good tracks in their catalogue.

There are two songs I love on this album and one song I like alright. Disappointment in all honesty, their single "Cold" is probably the only song I'll continue to listen to. Could've been a better album if they had put more work into it I think. I do, however, think Crossfade will get better over the years, and I have never seen them live so I can't speak there.

This Album had a few really good tracks and some really just normal alright tracks. This album compared to their new one though makes this album seem great. The lyrics on this one although not strong and brilliant like many songs ive seen delivered from bands such as soundgarden, Metallica, killswitch engage, Alice in chains , or maybe even linkin park, this album blows their newer album off the face of the planet with songs like cold and colors and dead skin.

This album really bothers me. I either really dig the track (Colors, The Unknown, So Far Away) or have to skip over them before my ears bleed (Starless, Death Trend Setta, Disco). Its inconsistanty ruins any bright spots. Don't waste your 10 bucks at WalMart for this disc.
