oh my god you can just smell the high-grade dank coming off from these riffs. Just littered with little orange hairs around the whole thing. Songs take turns in ways where you can almost expect it but it still delivers the goods right to your doorstep in a manner that is still surprising and different, and most importantly pleasant. In an age where it feels like you've heard it all, this comes in fresher than cut grass. There's touches of some of the best from the likes of The Red Sea, Celestial and Oceanic by your favorite past post-metal powerhouse Isis, in ways previously done by others in the genre that doesn't always feel as fulfilling. This is what I expected from a lot of those other bands, new or old. The watermark clearly has been raised. Get this post-metal sluggernaut in your ears pronto, por favor.
